The Wandering Pines
The Wandering Pines is on a quiet lake with very little to no boat traffic. The perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. There is an electric dry sauna and shower house. Beach area is sand with deck area & dock
Many summer activities like badminton with a full size 40' by 20' sand court, vollyball, or horshshoes are also provided. Nature walks in the forest on marked trails, even the driveway can be a beautiful walk. A canoe, aluminum rowboat and kayak are also included, with life jackets. There is an outdoor campfire area with comfy seating, and is always stocked with firewood.
The exterior of the cottage has cedar wrap-around decking, with plenty of seating. The two electric awnings on the deck keep the rain off, or help protect sensitive skin from the sun. The property is southwest facing for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There are 34 acres of private forest with rough trails for hiking. As well, there are groomed paths to stroll around the property, with 925 feet of naturalized waterfront.
This secluded private forest hosts a bounty of wildlife. Deer and moose are seen now and then. Birds of prey can also be spotted, like hawks and owls, even falcons.
There are many wetland birds because of the environmentally protected bays flanking the property, including loons, blue herons, ducks, and geese.
